Didactics
Trios Health provides a wide range of academic programs to supplement the clinical training experiences of residents and medical students. The Trios Health didactic program incorporates practical training and academic exercises to prepare residents for professional careers in medicine. Trios Health residents spend approximately five hours per week in didactics. This time is incorporated into their regular schedule. Faculty and medical staff are actively engaged in didactics as both instructors and participants.
Journal Club
Journal Club is an interactive session held monthly to review and discuss hot topics in research. The articles are relevant to the curriculum and learning experience of residents. Journal Club provides an avenue for understanding, interpreting, and analyzing data and published research.
Board Review
Board Review is incorporated into the residents' weekly didactic schedule, with special sessions coordinated by physicians with expertise in the specialty area covered. Residents receive as part of their annual contract a stipend to purchase study materials or to attend professional conferences.
Noon Conference
Noon Conferences include formal case presentations, board review sessions, and guest presenters.
Friday Conferences
Friday conferences are held on Fridays and cover topics including:
