Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon, Dr. Dennis L. Su, Joins Trios Health
February 12, 2025

Trios Health is pleased to welcome board-certified Vascular Surgeon, Dennis L. Su, MD. Dr. Su specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of vascular diseases, from varicose veins to life-threatening aneurysms.
Dr. Su completed undergraduate studies at University of California, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA, before earning his Doctorate in Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. Dr. Su then went on to complete his General Surgery Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY, followed by his Vascular Surgery fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (Case Western University), Cleveland, OH. Prior to joining Trios Health, Dr. Su worked as an attending vascular & endovascular surgeon at Kaiser Permanente Washington, in Tacoma, WA. He remains Clinical Assistant Professor with UW Vascular Surgery as a faculty member.
“There is a great need and tremendous opportunity for growing vascular services in the Tri-Cities area, and I look forward to serving my new community and providing patients with excellent care alongside the Trios Health Team”, said Dr. Su.
As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Su diagnoses and treats diseases and problems within the vascular system, also called the circulatory system. Its main function is to move blood through the body, brain, organs, muscles and tissues to remain healthy and alive. Some of the more common conditions Dr. Su treats include peripheral arterial disease, varicose and spider veins, pulmonary embolisms, and deep vein thrombosis, but he’s also equipped with the skills and experience to handle complex and emergent conditions such as carotid disease, stroke, aortic aneurysms and dissections.
In addition, Dr. Su plans to treat patients with 21st century technology through a minimally invasive approach. With the advent of endovascular interventions or in another name, catheter-based procedures using balloon, stent or Shockwave, the circulation can be restored in a safer and quicker ambulatory setting. This approach will especially benefit those who will benefit from less blood loss, shorter and safer anesthesia and not to mention, without the need for a hospital stay!
“The addition of Dr. Su to Trios Health reinforces our commitment to making communities healthier. He brings the latest clinical resources and experience to our vascular program,” said David Elgarico, CEO and Market President of Trios Health. “We are thrilled that he has joined our team so we can extend more treatment options for patients close to home”.
Dr. Su will see patients at the Trios Care Center at Southridge- 4th Floor clinic, located at 3730 Plaza Way in Kennewick.
