Nurse Practitioner Joins Trios Health Gastroenterology Clinic

Trios Health is pleased to announce that Kailey Friesz, NP, has joined Trios Medical Group as a gastroenterologist specialist. She started in early May.
Kailey will see patients at the Trios Care Center at Southridge 4th floor clinic, located at 3730 Plaza Way in Kennewick. She treats patients for a variety of conditions, including abdominal pain, diarrhea, acid reflux disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer screening, and more.
“It’s great to have Kailey join our team. She is a great patient advocate and we are excited to see her grow her practice with Trios,” said Lorie Orozco, Director of Trios Medical Group Operations. “She’s joining a well-established gastroenterology team and will work well with them to help meet our community’s needs.”
At the practice, Kailey joins Drs. Juergen Mueller, MD, and Ningxin Zeng, MD, as well as nurse practitioner Tyler Christensen.
Kailey is local to the Tri-Cities area and completed her Associates in Arts & Science at Columbia Basin College and minor in psychology and health science at Eastern Washington University. While working as a nurse extern and registered nurse at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, Kailey also completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Washington State University Tri-Cities and then her Master of Science in nursing at Frontier Nursing University. Most recently, she was the lead nurse in the emergency department at Kadlec, overseeing patient care for the entire department, directing ambulances and helicopters, managing staff and assisting with patient flow.
She has licensed and certified as a nurse practitioner and registered nurse and in Basic Life Support, Certified Emergency Nurse, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Trauma Nursing Core Course.
